I applied online. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, CA) in Oct 2014
Interview
The interview was super easy I originally wanted a attractions position but since I could not swim my recruiter gave me two options either be a cashier or food prep I chose cashier after the interview she said I got the job but I was wait listed for the position and I was OK she told me they will be sending me an email for a phone interview when a position was available...after that day Disney would occasionally send me emails saying if i was still interested in the position and I kept replying yes. After months without me getting the job I almost gave up on working at Disneyland until one day I decided to look at my emails and it was an email for a phone interview at Disney I had exactly 48 hours to set my appointment!!! so i set my appointment and they just called to tell me I got the job. It took exactly six months for them to contact me for the job but i still accepted the offer because I was not working at the time.So if you are currently wait listed just keep checking your emails it might take weeks or even months for you to get the job...I hope this helped
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you swim? availability to work? what job are you applying for?that's about it
Quick and easy; Very strict about dress code. Applied and got an email within the week to schedule an interview; went to the interview and got offered a couple of different positions based off of my prior experience.
Easy quick simple and fast was in and out of the casting center and I was offered the job quickly traditions is a little cult like though. Just drink the kool-aid and get your main entrance pass
it was more like a get to know you than a traditional interview, so don't be too nervous about it. i was asked about what my favorite ride is, favorite land, etc. you'll do great!
