I had filled out an online application beginning of February in 2012. After submitting that, about 15 minutes later I received one of those personality questionnaires via email. I filled that out, and about 45 minutes later, I was emailed an invitation for an in-person interview in the TDA building (Team Disney, Anaheim). If I remember correctly, I chose to interview about a week later and 8am. I arrived to the interview, dressed in business casual, no resume (since I was so young and didn't realize the importance of a resume), and ready to go. I sat in a waiting area along with a couple other people and then a woman called my name and another guy that was sitting in the waiting room. She took us into a small room and had us watch a video that talked about work hours, expectations, Disney Look (which is haircuts, accessory regulations, nail polish color, hair color, etc.) weekly pay, procedures, and normal orientation-like stuff. After the video, the woman took us into separate rooms where the interview would be held. She asked me normal things questions like: "Why Disney?" and "Tell me about a difficult Guest situation and how you handled it." She asked me what I did at Victoria's Secret (since that was my previous employer) and the responsibilities I had as a Lead. She was on the computer the entire time I was answering her questions and she let me know that she was looking for immediate open positions for me as a Quick Service cashier because my experience matched best with that position. Once she did, she gave me a laminated paper with the job description, expectations, pay rate, and all that stuff about carrying 50 plus pounds without accommodations and such. She told me exactly where I would work and gave me a start date. I went back the next day for paperwork and started on March 3.
