I applied in-person. I interviewed at DirectLink (Charlotte, NC) in Mar 2015
Interview
in a lobby type room with chairs, fill out an application, it is a revolving door because people are continually leaving because of the low wages. you are ushered into an office, after waiting awhile, or asked to wait for a call-back. if you finally do get an interview, they have you agree that you will never get a raise and never get overtime (time and a half) no matter how many hours you work. they are polite and very nice, if hired you are told where to get a drug test. if you pass, you are given 3 shgirts for a 5 day work-week, congratulations, you will be delivering drugs to pharmacies for $9/ hr. then you will hear of last year's company newsletter where the owner thanked the drivers for all their hard work so he could get his jet. that's when half the drivers quit, so i'm told. but if you have a 6 hour shift they will let you milk the clock or help out on the dock for another precious hour.
