Question 1
What were some challenging IT problems, and how did you come up with solutions? Were you ever asked to do anything unethical, how did you respond?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Deviation Games
Interview
Referral candidate for Senior QA - I had 4 interviews spanning roughly 2-3 months. The 4th interview took a slightly more technical turn, and the interviewers seemed to imply that I was now being considered for some sort of QA Engineer/Technical QA role.
Following the 4th interview, I was scheduled for an offer meeting. HR no showed so we rescheduled for later in the week. The day prior to the 2nd offer meeting, I was scheduled for a quick meeting with the department manager. The manager informed me that the role was no longer remote friendly, and that this change only affects QA.
In the 2nd offer meeting, I was provided no information regarding salary range, relocation package, or clarification on the title I was being considered for. This was the 3rd time I had inquired about salary range, as I had emailed HR previously but met with no response. I was told that they would gather more information regarding my questions, and would reach back out for another meeting.
After roughly a month of waiting, I was finally scheduled for a third offer meeting. HR joined the call 15 minutes late, and provided no information about salary range, relocation package, or title. I was asked about my ideal salary range - I responded with my current salary + cost of living difference, as a starting point. I was told this was unlikely to happen, but they would try to put together a compelling offer and reach back out. After nearly a month of waiting, they did not reach back out.

Question 1
General QA questions, nothing particularly interesting or out of the ordinary.
I applied online. I interviewed at Deviation Games
Interview
Interview was by video due to Covid with a group of ~3 people at the company. Asked some basic questions about programming, though they didn't allow hardly any time at all to gather your thoughts and think a bit on the question before they started throwing out hints for the questions. One of the interviewers from the very start gave of the vibe that he was bored or just did not want to be there.
