During the application process you are required to complete a "cognitive assessment". A few days after submitting the application, I was contacted by an HR person who let me know the next step in the process was to complete a "one-way interview". You literally record yourself answering questions and submit for them to (allegedly) review. I almost skipped out on this based on general objection to a "one-way interview" - get a grip, that isn't an interview by any stretch - but a friend convinced me to complete it. Several weeks later and zero communication from them. Great - now their AI bot has my image, voice, and words to keep building on.
For an organization that depends on customer service and relationships, it is WILD they would screen their candidates using such a BS tactic. Honestly, there are SO many companies in the Phoenix area - save yourself a headache and apply elsewhere.
