I interviewed at Department for Work And Pensions (London, England)
Interview
Lengthy process however straightforward interview using competencies and the star method. Prepare for behavioural questions and really empathise on how you ended on a positive for the organisation. Most importantly be yourself and show your personality.

Question 1
Can you tell me about a time when you had to make a difficult decision and how you came to your decision
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Department for Work And Pensions (Peterborough, England) in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview was entirely competency based. The best advice I can give is to thoroughly read the civil service competency framework, and then think of some solid examples that fit in with the competency requirements (noted in the job description), make sure you talk about what YOU did in any given situation, not what WE did.
