Interview was divided into 3 steps. First was an informal call on my cellphone by the HR to confirm my interest. Next was a 2hr technical interview with team lead and an engineer. Third would be meeting the team in person. I was rejected after the second step. Technical interview was like an oral exam, with questions ranging from system-level discussions to explaining what a specific keyword in C does. Covered fundamental embedded system topics in detail. After the interview the team lead called to provide detailed feedback on why they wont be proceeding with my application. The whole process was quick and overall pleasant. One downside was that the technical assessment mostly tested rote learning than actual problem-solving abilities.
