I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Deltatre in Oct 2020
Interview
The interview was technical and online with three people. One HR which led the interview and two software developers. One developer was late for the interview. He was pretty much OK as a person and was positive, but only asked a few questions. What I didn't like was the second interviewer. He asked most of the questions. In the beginning he asked me if I had experience in Video on demand development. I replied no. This is the first sign he didn't read my CV. Even though I said I didn't have experience in that area, he kept asking me for meaning of acronyms that are only specialized in OTT and video on demand. I answered some of them since I was researching about the company previously, but with each answer I politely also said that information is just from my short research before the interview. Non the less, he kept asking me for more acronyms. I felt like he was trying to catch me that I don't have knowledge in that area. Even though I don't have. I wasn't trying to cover that up.
What I also didn't like was his attitude. He asks me a question and after my reply, he just says 'no'. He didn't have any people's skills, or trying to tell me the right answers for example.
My advice: don't send people without people's skills to make interviews. Even if I got a job offer, I would ask if he would be my boss. If true, I would hardly accept a job with a person I report to to have that kind of attitude.
