Delta Dental Ins. interview questions

The process began with a 15 to 20 minute phone screening, and the next day I was invited to an in-person interview. I completed a 30-minute meeting with the Department Manager to discuss operational expectations.

Had a phone interview that went very well. A few days later the company reached out to me to set up an interview-person interview. The interview was fine, nothing too difficult, with two rounds. The first round was with the actuarial manager and the second with two actuaries. After the first portion of the interview, the manager basically told me I was getting hired. However, two and a half weeks passed after the interview with no next steps. I reached out and was told within 5 minutes they weren’t moving forward with me. I would’ve loved some clarity as to why or at least not been told that I was getting the job.
