The face to face was a waste of time. Yes, it was similar to what others are stating. There is an interview, something called fireside and a room where you state your name, where you from, do you speak any foreign language fluently and what you do for a living. My advice, answer them directly, look around the room and smile. The process was 4 hours. Two hours and thirty minutes of that time is standing around chatting. The flight attendants that were there were old and bad at hiding emotions. All males were homosexual and the females were rude. I walked up to a male flight attendant to ask a question and he totally ignored me then when I was the only one standing there he gave me a disgusting look and was short and walked away. Jealous much! While we did this thing called fireside, the flight attendants stood around. I have quick eyes and for EVERYONE that stood up they were laughing and whispering under their breath. Unprofessional! Once that fireside was done we just sat there wondering what to do next. At 4 we were all dismissed except 4 white young females. I'm happy for them. All in all, you don't have to wear the colors, smile, don't be afraid to mingle, speak clearly and professionally, dress for success, and know about delta airlines. There is no clear way to know what they are looking for so don't be disappointed. I will not be reapplying because if a 54 year man treat me like that again, it's gone be an incident. Individuals with extensive experience and higher education, beware.
