I applied in late august and got an email to do a video interview about two weeks later.
I can't remember exact wording but it went something like this...
-Why do you think your experience and background will make you a good candidate for this position?
-Name a time when you took initiative without anyone asking you to.
-Name a time when you had to deal with a difficult coworker. What was the situation, how did you handle it, and what was the outcome?
-Explain a time when a teammate was not doing their share of the work.
-Explain a time when you went above and beyond what was needed to meet a customers needs.
-Name a time when you saw a coworker doing inappropriate things. What did you do?
The first one was a test question to make sure if the video and audio were working..not sure if they actually review it or not.
Anyway, I made eye contact with the camera the whole time and smiled.
I waited about a month until I got another email telling me that I would be moving one step closer and would receive a call within the next week to ten days and would be asked a few questions and need my passport near by for verification.
Does anyone know what these questions might be?
When I applied a year ago, I received a telephone call setting up a telephone interview as the first step. They verified my passport at this time then asked questions like,
"What would you do if a passenger was intoxicated and wanted more alcohol"
"What would you do if a child was sleeping in an aisle way and the captain turned on the seatbelt sign"
(I forget the others)
the second phone interview I got a month later (last year) had questions like :
tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult customer
tell me about a time you convinced others to your point of view
tell me about a time you were working in a fast paced enviroment for an extended period of time and how did you manage that
tell me about 2 situations when you had to deal with dishonesty or unfairness.
What I would really want to know now that I have a phone call coming up, does ANYBODY have any insight as to what those questions might be?
The same as the phone questions from last year?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated! I want this more than anything!!!
Good Luck guys!!

Question 1
Name a time when you had to convince others to see your point of view.
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.
