Very straight forward, to the point. No beating around the bush, and were very interested in gauging your abilities to be able to perform in the conditions required by the operation and company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If there were a conflict between you and another agent, how would you resolve the issue?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Salt Lake City, UT) in Oct 2018
Interview
I applied online on Sep 12th and then received an email about a week later for a Virtual online interview. I didn't hear anything back from delta until the very end of september with an email saying I am invited to a F2F interview in Salt Lake City. I interviewed on Oct 2nd. They bring you in with a group of about 25. They introduce the company and then they bring out people 1 by 1 for 1on1 interviews. If you weren't selected first you sit in the room and they will answer questions. I would recommend that you ask questions and sound engaged. I believe I got the job because the guy who interviewed me heard me asking about moving up in the company and excitement towards the company.
They do a STAR interview. Just make sure you answer in proper STAR format. After that, I was taken to another room to sign up for filling out paperwork the next day.
NOTE: IF THEY TELL YOU THEY WILL GET BACK TO YOU ABOUT THE JOB YOU DID NOT GET IT SORRY
Next day I went in and filled out tons of paperwork for a background check. They fingerprint and give you info for the drug test and PAT (physical agility test). The drug test has to be within 2 days after filling out the paperwork or your conditional job offer is rescinded. Sign up for an appointment for the PAT test and then you have to wait 2-5 weeks for your background check to come back. This can take a while. It took about a month for them to call me. They called me on October 30th, 28 days after I interviewed in person.
NOTE: If you check online on delta.greatjobs.net or whatever the website is, if it says that "Position Offered" you got it! Just wait for the call. Sometimes it can take several weeks for them to call you. They wait for all the candidates stuff to go through before they call you. Patience is key.
