The process was really unique, and very exciting.
A. First round was the online apti+tech questions. 60 questions in 60 minutes.
B. The second round was the case study, totally pen and paper. In which you will be having a real life scenario, you need to depict your solution with three types, which are "Block diagram", "Flow chart",and "Algorithm / Pseudo code". This assessment was a individual work. We were 126 students in this round, after which the shortlist, narrowed down to 7.
C. As we were only 7 remaining, they gave us a group activity. The deliverable outcome was explained to us in a very descriptive manner. 30 minutes were allocated for us to complete the task.
They basically wanted to see the team work, and how you react in team. The key factor for this round would be "Don't compete, compliment". All 7 of us got through this round as our team work was impressive.
D. Now the fourth round was PI, where there was a panel of 4 people. This round was basically to test you, how you react when a new problem is given to you. The problem given was quite unexpected. You need to think the solution from every aspect. 1 of us was eliminated in this round.
E. This was final HR round. The questions were normal HR questions. Given a dilemma, what you would do in that situation.
After this round 5 of us got final offer from Dell R&D. the process went up to 12:30 at night, so they might have wanted to see the patience as well.
It was overall a very good experience.
