1) Using the given API to fetch data & filter it.Make sure to handle the response codes and other negative scenarios.
2) react UI which needs knowledge of events, prop passing from child to parent, date formatting... Make sure to use proper naming convention and you get rated mostly on how many of the requirements your UI meets...

Interview
HR Screening, followed by frontend take-home assignment in React. On site interview was by two technical interviews and two behavioral interviews. No algorithms involved as it's a frontend position, but frontend design questions were included.
Turnaround time was very short, I wasn't kept waiting through any weekends. HR was very friendly and stated proactively that the offer was negotiable, which made the whole experience very pleasant.
