I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dealer-FX (Markham, ON) in Apr 2026
Interview
First Round with the HR , She asked questions about the last few projects and why I want to move out of current role
Second round was with the Manager , He asked questions about the projects I have worked on and how I implement it . I felt that my current project does not implement proper Agile or follows the process that IT teams generally follow, this might have been a drawback for me
Very relaxed interview with 1 manager in business casual office environment. Manager had very calm demeanor and questions are easy. Example: What systems do you have experience with? How do you resolve conflict?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dealer-FX (Texas, LA) in Nov 2024
Interview
Had a brief zoom call with a recruiter, and shortly thereafter, a more comprehensive interview with Regional Manager that lasted an hour. Process went quickly and smoothly. Had to email recruiter to check on my status as a candidate 2 weeks later, but promptly received a "canned" response that I was no longer under consideration. Most companies that I have interviewed with over the past few years have set the bar INCREDIBLY low, so I feel that their response times were mostly acceptable and the process was fair. It appears based on my research that compensation for this role is 25k-35k less than it was prior to COVID.
