I gave them my resume and I was contacted via email about having an interview. We had a Skype interview for about 30 minutes. It was mostly the interviewer explaining what the job would be. He seemed extremely rushed the whole time and gave off the impression that he really did not want to be interviewing me which made it quite the negative experience. Afterwards, it was pretty much radio silence. I reached out to HR about a follow-up email and they told me they had some more interviews to get through and would tell me if I got the job within a week and I heard absolutely nothing.

The HR person was very friendly and open about how the interview process was going to look like. The reason why I had a negative experience was that part of the interview process was creating a marketing strategy for one of their existing clients along with multiple mockup posts and analyzing their audience with a week long timeframe to complete. I prefer to not do unpaid work, especially if it is work for an existing client. I understand if it is for a fake client, but in this case I will not be doing unpaid work for an actual client for an entire week.
