      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DataStax in Feb 2021

      Interview

The interview was three rounds. -First interview was with HR, asked about exoerience, "About Me", talked about goals, resume, etc. -Second Interview was semi-technical. Went into depth more about the products, what technical skills I had, spoke more about the projects I worked on at past internships. Ended with a couple of technical questions. -Third interview was another behavioral interview to make sure I was the best fit for the role/company. Asked a lot of my values and what I would do in certain situations, as well as how my technical background backed it up.

      Interview

The interview process was very fast and smooth. I had 3 rounds of interviews: first with HR regarding behavioral questions and experience, second with my hiring manager that included a few technical questions regarding Java, databases, and my school projects. He was very understanding and made the interview a lot less nerve-wracking. Then, I had a technical assessment which I had to submit by my final round. It was mostly following DataStax documentation and documenting my mistakes/thought process. My last round of interviews was with a team member from the Support team. This was mostly casual conversation, just to see how I would mesh with the team. Overall, a very smooth experience!
