Interview process was a general screening with HR that lasted 40 minutes, I should note, I did not apply for this role, I was contacted to apply via LinkedIn. The second interview was actually an hour info session that discussed step 1 of the interview process, a 2 part assignment consisting of a rubric for change value and risk, and a presentation reflecting the rubric utilizing a template provided by DaVita. The info session was confusing as I thought I was to present the slides? I spent 4 hours on the task and the template was not editable. The slides were pdfs and could not be updated as the instructions stated, I contacted the team to let them know I couldn’t update the deck, and was told “submit it without and do your own.” I quickly put together 4 slides featuring the info requested by the interviewer. I offered to send over my portfolio of work and more samples given the template issue. 1-2 days later I got a rejection, I was very disappointed with the experience and the individuals I interviewed with. The interview questions were not very inquisitive and did not focus on ability or knowledge. And if you send a template that cannot be updated by your candidate as you instructed, then course correct and allow them either more time or to submit another sample.
