      Interview

the interview has too many layers, for a small company that does not even pay that much, it is way too much. The interview is hard and payment too low.

      Programmer Interview

      21 Mar 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Fresno, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DPS Telecom (Fresno, CA) in Jan 2017

      Interview

They called me in for a first screening, took a stupid typing test and a 100 question long personality test, after that there was a configuration test where I had to follow the instructions easy and stupid. Then I gave two interviews with three people. After that was told that they will email me the coding challenge which they did not for a couple of weeks. I called them and reminded them about it only them they send me the challenge. I finished the challenge in a day and after a week they called me in for an on-site interview. They made me sit in a room with a laptop and had me do another coding challenge which was a further enhancement of my own coding challenge of the previous round. I finished that in 5 hours and then they made me take a 2 hours IQ test which had no relation to my skill. After that two people came and talk to me after that the head of engineering came and asked me a few questions about algorithms and some whiteboard coding. He was happy with my performance and that I finished everything in a single day which he told me that others took 2 days. He said he was happy and could definitely work with me. It's been more than a month and they haven't told me the decision. I never want to work in a place like this. The office is so old and boring, they have small office rooms for everyone. Nothing fancy everything is old and boring. The money is just 13$/hour. They fool you by saying that its 45K but it's not. They are the worse people I have given an interview with. I spoke to a few people at the office no one is happy working there. Please do not consider this company for your career.
