DLB Associates interview questions

2 interviews. First with 2 people who would work under me, interesting choice of process. 2nd, the 2 people above me. The interview went well, everyone was cordial. Immediate boss asked all the questions, bosses boss just listened in. I interviewed for a position paying ~$200k and they, instead, CREATED a new position paying $130k and offered it to me, pending a third interview with a different hiring manager.

My interview experience for this position was unfavorable. It began with an initial phone screen with the recruiter. After that, I was interviewed by two employees who conducted a Microsoft Office skills assessment. While I understand that the role relies heavily on MS Office, it was disappointing that my 30 years of career experience were seemingly overlooked, and the focus was placed on basic skills rather than my extensive professional background.
