I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DJS Research
Interview
Initially applied via email to job advert on website. Heard back within a week and was invited to interview less than two weeks later. Interview was scheduled for 9.30 so I arrived at 9.20 and rung buzzer for entrance to the building. Was ignored for nearly five minutes before ringing reception, who took nearly another five minutes to answer the phone before informing me I was lucky to get hold of anyone as "nobody mans reception until 10am". Quite why they are organising interviews at a time when gaining entrance to the building is nigh on impossible is baffling. Once inside staff were friendly but interview questions were largely around coding skills and experience, although job specification made no mention whatsoever of this. If this is such an important part of the role why not mention it at all as part of the job spec? Very strange, and probably why the job is still advertised (in it's misleading form) some months later. For this reason I feel that my time was unnecessarily wasted. Overall lots of potential but poor communication and organisational skills let them down.
