I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied online for a summer internship. I received an email to sign up for an interview slot on campus through a google doc. There were two 30 minute interviews with two different people. Just your typical stuff. A few weeks later I got an email saying I didn't get it.

Question 1
What is one thing you would change about either online or in-store?
First I had two behavioral interviews which were pretty generic questions and the people were very nice. After passing those, I had one technical interview with multiple employees before receiving an offer
Talked to a recruiter at a career fair, then scheduled two 30 min video interviews with two engineers. Some easy technical questions mixed with mostly personal questions. No screen sharing or coding or anything. Then got an offer by email like 2-3ish weeks later.
