I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods
Interview
I applied online and received a phone call a few days later to set up an interview. I met with someone from HR I think and was asked why I wanted to work there, my involvement in sports, and a bunch of situational questions. I'd say there were about five or six of those. Then I took a behavioral quiz that asked you to rate how much you agreed/disagreed with a particular statement (ex. Managers are more important to the company than the associates). After I took the quiz I had another interview with a store manager who more or less asked me the same questions as the first person I spoke to. Again why do you want to work here and three or four behavioral questions. The whole interview probably took about 30 minutes and I was hired on the spot.
I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Niles, IL)
Interview
Very simple. One phone screen and then an in person interview with the floor manager. Overall very simple process and very few questions. Got offered the position during the second interview.
