I applied in-person. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods in Aug 2014
Interview
The interview was the same as a new hire. They have to use the company questionnaire and did not use any personal questions pertinent to the individual job offer.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Meridian, ID) in Nov 2014
Interview
I applied for several positions at a store location. I got a call back and 3 days later I was in an interview with the store manager. I found out the position didn't start for 3 months as it was for a new store location but he offered to take me on as seasonal at that store until the new store opened. It was a very good experience, the store manager was very informative about the position and I had a good feeling about the interview. Two days later I got a call at 730 PM from the store manager that he wanted me to start the next day for training and if things worked out, I would go to the new store that he was managing as the FFL. I start tomorrow!

Question 1
There weren't really any hard questions it was a one on one with the store manager and He was friendly and informative and mostly wanted to know about what I was doing at my last job which was an assistant stock crew manager at Hannaford Bros.
