Recruiter called them set up for face to face interview. Had about five or six questions on tell me about a time type of thing. Wasn’t really bad at all. I ever had me waiting a long time for a rejection.
HORRIBLE! Waste of TIME! DO not interview here. I applied for a job, and heard from a “recruiter” after two weeks. The recruiter went over the job description on the phone interview and it was all HR duties that I have a lot of experience in. Then the recruiter said there might be just a little bit of operations duties, but not the whole job (I said okay that is fine).
When I got to the in person interview, first of all I was shocked they didn’t do a simple video interview because of the CORONAVIRUS! Instead they had people coming in and out of the office building at the peak of the virus! Shows they are not able to adapt quickly and lack basic technology resources. Second, the interview was with two people at the same time (which I hate because it always seems you are being ganged up on). It was with the HR Business Partner and the General Manager. The General Manager was so RUDE! He seemed uninterested, rolling his eyes, looking away, not focused on the interview—just completely UNPROFESSIONAL! It made me not want to work there at all! And I had already decided before the interview was over that I wasn’t interested. I should have just stopped the interview and called him out on that. The interview questions were scripted—no originality, which shows the company culture and that the “managers” are not use to interviewing (bad sign). They were just looking down reading from a piece of paper. They had no interest in my answers. They asked about my experience and it is ALL ON MY RESUME right in front of them! Like read for yourself! Did you not prepare at all?!!
The final thing that ticked me off is that after going through a LONG interview, at the end they said the job is not the HR Administration duties it is actually just operations meaning SITTING AT THE FRONT DESK as a RECEPTIONIST!!!!!!!! Sorry I did not go to college and get in all of this student debt to be a RECEPTIONIST!!! They completely LIED about the position! Wasted my time. If I new it was that, I would not have gone to the interview! The RECRUITER LIED! Also, the PAY is TERRIBLE! Minimum wage, NO HEALTH BENEFITS and they asked in the interview about how much vacation do you normally take. Who asks that?! They asked that because they don’t expect you to EVER take time off! That is horrible and unrealistic!!
These companies are terrible! You cannot expect to require college educated people for these jobs and only pay them minimum wage. They can’t live off that! College is too expensive! Student loans are too high!
Also after they interview there was no communication from the recruiter at all—unprofessional!!!!!!
