I was contacted by a recruiting agency to join the company about two years ago. The hunter quickly understood my profile and described the position and the role contractor DFLabs was looking for. But before finalizing the application and forward my profile to the Company, she told me to review the company profile. This was quite strange and disappointed me because I never found a head hunter that took so much care seeking for a candidate and hold on before forwarding the profile to the his Client. Now I know why.
After a quick investigation I found enough reasons to decline and reject the proposition; here you go:
- Company states has a professional services line of business but it looks like a software house more than a consulting firm
- Company claims its employees are very qualified and experienced but only three out of 12 are graduates and with more than 5 years of experience
- Company was named one of the top 500 cybersecurity firms but the CEO was in the review board.
- I contacted some ex employees via LinkedIn and all of them were stuck with CEO personality and described company's vision like a Scientology subsidiary
- Some of the softwares made by Company were discontinued after major PR announcements
- The employees turnover seems quite high compared to the size of the company
