I had two interviews at the time. One was with the Design Director and a second was with one of the top Sales Account Executives. They looked through my portfolio of stuff, at the time mostly Student and Freelance Work. They appreciated my technology knowledge and presentation skills and brought me on as a Contract Designer. Three weeks into this position I helped them win a key account and they promoted me to Full Time Designer (Junior Level). Throughout my four years I moved quickly through the department into a Design Manager Position.
