It was a friendly and relaxed process. I had a phone call after expressing my interest to qualify the opportunity and my ability to perform the needed tasks. That was followed by an in-person meeting with both founders togeather and a seperate meeting with the CEO to go over any final details, expectations, questions, and my vision for the next 2 years.
This was an inspiring job interview. It didn't feel like the textbook, review a resume and talk about superficial stuff. Both founders cared about me, took the time to research my interests and background, and asked deep questions to feel out my maturity level and aspirations.
I've never worked for a smaller company before, so this was a big shock and an affirmation I was making the right decision.
