Applied both online + through referral, took about 1-2 months before DBS called me up for interview.
These are the rounds I went through
1. Job briefing - to tell you what CSO is all about and what to expect, corporate structure, etc.
2. Panel Interview - 2 interviewers with 5 of us. Asked standard questions, tell us more about yourself, your strength, why you wanna join DBS as a CSO etc. After which we were told to go to the pantry while interviewers assess the result. We had 5 interviewees including myself, 3 of which were told they did not pass and got sent home.
3. One to One interview - with 1 of the 2 interviewers which interviewed us earlier on. Basically they just need to fill up their form, with questions more on past experiences, expected salary, ability to work shifts etc.
4. Role Play - You will be seated infront of a work desk. Given 15 mins to prep with mock customer info, after which a staff will play as a demanding customer over the phone. Basically they just wanna assess how well do you handle a difficult customer.
5. Online assessment - Given case studies about customer service scenarios, basically a MCQ test to analyse your logical thinking, reasoning, and some basic maths questions.
Interview took from 9am - 2pm for me if you managed to pass through all of the rounds. Received call one week later from HR asking for character references details. Received 2nd call the following week with their offer for the job.
