It can be a long interview process. It can last 2 days and you meet with multiple managers;some of which you won't interact with again. I had to take 2 days PTO from my job just to interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at D'Artagnan (Union, NJ) in Mar 2021
Interview
Incredibly lengthy but this is not a case of breadth equating quality and investigative. You end up interviewing with multiple employees who likely never did your job, and you will absolutely never report for them.

Question 1
Once you interviewed for potential direct managers, you get passed around to people in other dept's who don't even really want to partake, but it's an outdated aspect of company culture that should have ended years ago. they are busy and want it to be over and ask the same rote, why do you want to be here type questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at D'Artagnan
Interview
Intense hiring process. They really want to make sure that they find the right fit. They want to make sure employees will be dedicated, and are completely ready for a complete career change

They hire mostly people from the restaurant industry. Most of the questions are related to why you want to leave the restaurant business and what interested them in sales.
