Applied in October 2020.
First conversation in late October with the HR rep. About who I am, background, etc... general HR stuff.
Second conversation in early Nov with the Hiring Manager. I felt this interview was very solid. I answered questions that hit the right topics.
Third conversation in mid Nov with the EHS Director via phone. Kinda weird to be speaking with a guy I wont report too, but it doesnt matter as he has many years with the business.
Fourth conversation in mid Nov with the Cytiva site EHS team at the site. On-site for 2 hours. Interview and tour. I enjoyed meeting the team. The overall set up for the interview was awful as it was flipped around and the folks were just pulled into the interview without being prepared. This means that they were looking at their standard HR papers alot. The tour was cool. Got to see the process and the flow of products. It turns out the business is wanting to make "Value Stream Teams", kinda like a mini SLT for production lines.
Fifth conversation with Site Plant Manager and Site HR leader. This interview was randomly added. I just chatted with two people.
In the end, no offer was made. They spent 2 weeks to inform me about their decision. That led me to believe, they were negotiating with another and kept me, just in case as their #2.
