Cyncly Senior Software Engineer interview questions

Recruiter screen. This profile was for .NET engineers with basic knowledge of C++ First round for .NET went very well. Even though I mentioned that I do not have work experience in C++, I was asked to go through a C++ round. There were two interviewers in this round. The arrogance of the interviewer was such that they asked one question and decided that I know nothing. It was insulting and the interviewers were on a ego rush. The interviewer also had a constant smirk on his face which did not help either. Later got ghosted by recruiter after I sent him emails and calls to get feedback since the profile was for .NET, not C++. Why do you take interviews? Just for an ego drive?
