A recruiter reached out to me and I was happy to see that. I expressed my interest in the position and went and filled out my application. 20
Min after I was rejected and found out it was due to a higher salary request. Without EVER speaking with me nor any communication about salary the recruiter just denied my application. I explained that without a conversation to see if I was flexible with compensation not describing the full compensation package Cushman Wakefield lost a very Eligible, competent and professional individual. We candidates are not cattle and fill out applications blankly. It’s the recruiters job to give full information as to not waste anyone’s time applying if they are not in the proper range of compensation.
I do staffing in my career and I would never turn down a viable candidate bc we haven’t discussed where they are in terms of this compensation
Cushman, you need to do better with this. In a landscape where companies are complaining about not being able to find workers you failed here.
