The interview process was relaxed and personal - but was also slow. In my first interview, I was a phone screen by an HR Professional who answered many questions for me as well as asked me basic interview questions to gauge my credibility. In that screening process, I was then told that I would be contacted -within a week. Within a few days, I was contacted regarding an in-person interview where the office manager, also a vertical market leader and hiring manager took me out to lunch to talk more about the job. This was great and gave us a true opportunity to connect. A few weeks later I had a third interview with the Manager of BD, HR, and a Principal. This interview was more down to the specifics of the skill set I held and what I could bring to the table. My understanding is that if the manager of BD would have been in town, I would have only had two interviews, but because he was unavailable, I had three interviews, which was okay.
After the interview, I was told I would hear back in a week or so. This "week" however, was strung into a few months and I had given up and began looking again. about two months after the third interview I received a callback on the offer and an apology for the delay. I didn't consider the delay to heavily, however, because I was told from the getgo, that their interview process can be arduous and lengthy. Overall, I am very happy to be with Cushing Terrell and LOVE Working here. The environment, culture is great and I enjoy the autonomy and entrepreneur spirit of the company!
