I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Currys (Glasgow, Scotland)
Interview
I got a brief phone interview that led to an invitation to one of its stores in Glasgow. The interview was long and complex which I never expected. They even requested a demonstration on computing sales skills. Overall it was enjoyable and I ended up working in the store for almost two years. I learned a lot about sales, communication and influence which led me to a better job.
Definitely the easiest interview I had ever done. It was just an informal chat with one of the managers with really simple and straightforward questions and asking about my availability.
Initial group interview and then one to one afterwards. Very relaxed setting and was made comfortable by staff undertaking interview. The whole process was very quick and communication was great.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Currys
Interview
Fairly easy, staff were friendly and a smooth process. The employers do not make you feel pressurised, it helps when you have previous sales experience but if you show them you are eager to learn and are engaged in tech. they'll definitely want you.
