I applied for a Field Ops Apprenticeship via an email with my resume. Received a call the next day asking me to come in for a in person interview.
The interview was a first round as typical and consisted of two people and was stated to me that they do not make the decisions who to bring back for a 2nd interview.
During the interview it appears there was a mix-up as they had two resumes and called me by the wrong name at first.
The advertisement stated it would be in the field learning but I learned that i would be answering phone calls and dealing with tickets. This seems like more of a customer service position in which they were hiring for as well. I sent an email later in the the evening to clear up the confusion and received no reply.
They did correct it eventually however I feel I may have been interviewed for the wrong position due to this from the questions asked and the mix-up.
The interview also felt very rushed as I didn't get much time to ask questions. Perhaps they decided quickly I wasn't the correct fit or perhaps was overqualified.
I received a rejection email 3 days later.
Overall kind of a poor experience due to the mix-up and bad job description.
