Multi month process. Recruiter screened my resume and "reviewed" it with the hiring manager. Was sent a challenge project before speaking with the recruiter. Spoke with the recruiter about it and basic culture questions. No review of experience or technical questions. Had to complete project before speaking with manager or anyone technical. Very extensive project with a large time commitment needed. After I completed and submitted the project I received a rejection email a few days later without any explanation or chance to speak with anyone about it.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cruise (Toronto, ON)

The interview was good, the manager asked questions about my background. In the end he said the I am technically good, and about next steps. Week after, got rejected. No idea why they interview when they already had made their mind, either I was just a backup or other behind the scene points.

Submitted resume from glassdoor apply now. Phone interview with recruiter. Emailed Design challenge, i.e. design a widget. Email designed widget back, wait for reply. Unfortunately my widget wasn't good enough. No feedback as to why. Wish I could try again as its one of those companies to look out for in the near future.
