First the recruiter told me a hybrid schedule was available. Then when I went into the interview they said that there was not, which was fine. About a week later they wanted another interview for a half day. I met with 4 other hiring managers for an entire afternoon. Then a week after that was sent the generic no thank you email saying my application was not proceeding. They seem to be looking for a unicorn candidate for every role. The jobs I interviewed for are pieces of the job I currently do. Nothing more difficult, in fact it would be easier because I would have been doing less of the process. They asked if I would further my education. I said yes to that as well, even though I didn’t need my current education level for my job now so it doesn’t really make sense to get a higher education for doing an easier job that I already had experience in. But I was willing to get that level anyways.
