      Quality Engineer Interview

      7 Dec 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Portland, OR
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CrowdCompass (Portland, OR) in Sept 2016

      Interview

Was approached by their internal recruiter via LinkedIn. Had a phone interview with the recruiter, and then was scheduled for a phone interview with two people in the QA dept in Portland. The phone interview was essentially thirty minutes of one person going down a list of questions to fire at me, with little to no conversational, human interaction. Very exhausting and seems counter-intuitive to really get to know a potential candidate. To top it off, I never heard from them again--not even a "thanks, but no thanks."
