Initial call with recruiter, followed by rounds of "get to know you" with senior engineering manager, "communication and culture", "technical deep-dive", and "critical thinking". The technical call was not, in fact, a deep-dive but dealt with string-handling and then built-in array functions in JS -- quite disappointing.
I still do not understand the growing prevalence of "critical thinking / systems design" phases of interviews that quiz me on things like global deployment strategies, pen-testing and more -- I presume I did poorly on this one.
