Interview
Many steps to the interview process, time consuming, and they didn’t give me the courtesy of saying I didn’t get the job after two rounds of time consuming interviews. I had to reach out after spending over three hours on their interview process.

Interview
This is the lengthiest interview process I’ve ever done. I wrote an essay to apply (less than 1k words), then had a traditional phone screening that was about 30 minutes, was asked to do a 3 part 90 minute math test, and last was sent an excel sheet to prepare an 8 slide PowerPoint presentation which I presented to 9 people over Zoom followed by nearly 2 hours of questions from all 9 people. This process took weeks and I spent over 8 hours total on it. The 2 hour interview alone was grueling, and I was told I was only 1 of 4 people. It took me 3-4 hours just to crunch the data to prepare for the presentation. I understand the need to be thorough so you pick someone capable, but please keep in mind this is time interviewees are not compensated for and not getting a job after such a large commitment is very disappointing, especially when you are a strong candidate who gave your all at every step.

Typical questions, the difficult part was being interviewed by 9 different people. What are your career goals? Are you better at quantitative or qualitative research? What are your weak points? What are your three greatest accomplishments?
