I applied through university. I interviewed at Cornett (Lexington-Fayette, KY) in May 2017
Interview
I applied through email. Within a week, the HR person emailed me to schedule an interview. She seemed to assume I was a Lexington native (I'm out-of-state) and after a lot of "email tag" she scheduled a phone interview with the production director. The email contact at the beginning was great.
For the interview, the interviewer called ten minutes late. The interview took almost an hour, with a lot of awkward pauses from the interviewer making it seem like he wasn't really paying attention. At one point he got up to get some water making yet another awkward pause. He talked a lot about the hipster company culture and how extensive the position was. It didn't really sound like it was for me, but I was open to it, and after the interview I sent a thank you and followed up a week or so later. I never heard anything back considering how responsive they were in the beginning and it seemed a little unprofessional.
