I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Corecentric Solutions (Glendale Heights, IL) in Jun 2016
Interview
I applied online through a university job website on a Friday. I received a call the next Friday morning. I came in for an interview the following Tuesday. The interview lasted over two hours. They asked me some standard behavioral questions. They asked me about my resume, specifically looking for more detailed information on the projects I had worked on and the classes that I had taken. They had a circuit board and ask me questions about it. What do you think this is from? Name some of the components on the board. Why is this here? etc. They had me solve some very simple circuit diagrams, and name some devices based on their symbols. We discussed a more complicated circuit and they quizzed me on why it was designed the way it was, and how changes made to the circuit would affect it. So, a pretty technical interview, but nothing that someone with a BS in EE would find overly difficult.
