There wasn't really a formal interview process, I applied through their portal and received an email shortly after with a few logistical questions. Then the director of the program at the courthouse emailed to confirm my start date and my hours. Then you have to get your ID and fingerprints done at the California courthouse.

There were two very nice ladies who were extremely kind. They made everything feel comfortable, and I felt really at ease during the interview. I don’t know if this is the right way to say it, but if you don’t have anything to hide, the process goes very smoothly. They ask different questions—just answer honestly, in the way you think is right, or based on your own life and experiences. That’s all.
