The interview process was overall mediocre. While the initial steps were straightforward, the interview with the hiring manager felt less structured and not well-aligned with the role requirements. Some questions did not fully reflect the scope of the position, and there appeared to be limited familiarity with certain UKG products despite the role requiring that expertise. Hiring manager started accusing me of lying on my resume.
I answered all questions professionally and based on my direct experience with multiple UKG platforms, though at times it felt my background was being questioned rather than explored. A more balanced and objective interview approach, with clearer role alignment, could improve the candidate experience. If the interview wasn’t professional I could just imagine the culture and management team.
