      Account Manager Interview

      7 Jun 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Concept Services in May 2023

      Interview

      - Phone Call Not 100% but sounded like the guy was still in the bed. Didn't have my resume pulled up, Didn't know how I applied for the position, etc. Now on to the interview, I have 5+ years working with large enterprise clients. Where I was creating solutions and driving revenue. He asked me what I knew what about the company in my words, ran off a list of software and processes that they use, and a few other things. I said that I've used those in multiple capacities even using the software to provide reporting to executives. I was very intuitive and was asking questions about how I could come in and make a difference even though he sounded like he was just reading off a list of minimum qualifications/skills. After the interview, I was ghosted for about a week after sending a follow up text/email, just to receive an automated message saying they weren't moving forward. Humbly speaking, I felt like I was overqualified and to be ghosted for a position I used to coach/train seems a bit tricky. The only thing that I didn't align with was the fact that they have "golf" outings and I've never played lol. I looked at the company profile and diversity doesn't seem to be there thing so that's that.
