I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Con Edison (New York, NY)
Interview
First let me say this Hiring process took 6 months. Patients and checking emails are extremely important. I applied for the position online. After one week I recieved an email to come in for a test ( which was schedule for about a month after that). The test was set up SAT style in my opinion. Each sections is timed and if you dont no pass one section they do not let you proceed to the next section and you are ask to leave. The test takes about 5-6 hours with small breaks in between. The final part of the test is a simulation that is prompted by the computer and your answers are recorded. After I finished the test I did not receive an email telling me weather I was or failed. I check the coned job board page and it informed me that I passed and I was eligible for the next steps. 3 months after taking the test I received an email to come in for an interview. The interview was an hour long and it consist on continuous scenario type questions. The questions seem repetitive but as long as you stay calm they give you time to think about your response. About a month after the interview I recieved an email with a job offer. Before I recieved my final job offer I had to under go a background check and a drug/medical exam. After this I recieved a date for orientation.

The interview was long and in-depth but covered things that seemed like appropriate gauges for the role's expectations. Be prepared to show your best face and customer friendliness. Make it clear that you can separate business from personal.
Interview Process was pretty easy and straight to the point. Questions asked were pretty much scenario based questions. The interview was with two people each asking you one scenario at a time. Wasn’t difficult. Just think before responding and you shall be good.
