Received a friendly email from the HR person 2 days after applying online. When we spoke, he said they were to have a managerial position opening soon that he thought I would be more suited for. Great. He explained the interviewing process and that he would sent me a 'survey' to start things off. I received an email that evening from The Predictive Index, that I've not encountered previously. It consists of 86 adjectives that you select. Page 1 is you select the adjectives your coworkers would use to describe you. Page 2 is the adjectives on how you see yourself. I googled and it kicks out a report saying what type of role you'd be good at - the candidate doesn't see it, only the company. Well, I was ghosted after I completed the survey. I reached out a week later asking if there was anything else he needed from me, and nothing. I'm an experienced person and rather shocked that a company wouldn't interview you based on what I'm guessing is an expensive 'tool' they purchased. At a minimum, ask me some questions about my management experience or business experience in the phone call.
