I applied in March 2021 for the Senior Consultant role. After an initial "informal phone screening" with the VP of Finance and Operations. After weeks of waiting, in mid April I had another interview with three staff--Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Senior Manager.
Some of the interviewer questions could've been considered traps while others, and the interviewer comments around them, suggested bias against some candidates.
The organization's learning journey on racial equity has created inequity in their search and hiring processes. The experience seemed like survival of the fittest, most hipsterish, and most woke. Interviewers in positions they've held for 10+ years shouldn't comment on on sharing power when they are part of the problem.
