I interviewed for this position in Spring 2023 and someone else was selected over me. The process was a phone screen with the hiring manager, a virtual interview with the hiring manager and one other staff member, and an in person interview with multiple staff members. In the summer, after some organizational changes, the new hiring manager reached out to me to talk again because the position was reopening. After our conversation, the hiring manager said she would be in touch, gave no indication that I needed to resubmit an application after already going through the entire process, and then ghosted me after I followed up after the deadline. This organization does great work, but it was frustrating to see such a lack of communication in this process, especially when the organization reached out to me first the second time around.
